The open food-service stations offer the freshest food choices, while the well-trained culinary staff meet special dietary needs of customers and offer periodic interactive cooking demonstrations.

First introduced on the Marywood University campus, installation has just been completed in the new dining facility at Louisiana State University. Ohio Weslayan and Duke University also currently offer Pulse On Dining with other universities soon to follow. Catch a glimpse of Versa-Gard’s Europa™ line featured on the cover of the Winter 2007 issue of “Foodservice Equipment Reports Healthcare.”

Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital recently underwent extensive renovations at its facility, including combining all of the hospital’s dining facilities from three floors onto one. The new Mountain View Café boasts extensive food choices in the most convenient setting possible, with an amazing 180˚ view of the Roanoke Valley. The design team took extra measures to ensure optimization of layout and flow, design elements, equipment choices and materials that would stand the test of time and be adaptable to the hospital’s ever-changing needs. Their high standards naturally included food shields from Versa-Gard, chosen for the product’s attractive style and ease of cleaning. The team felt the Versa-Gard Europa™ shields offered maximum food visibility and access, while matching the contemporary décor of the Café.
